Production Line

Describes a compilation of several workstations with machines and equipment designed to produce a specific product. The machines and equipment in a production line are organized in a U-shape. All tools and equipment affected by a changeover are designed to be quickly exchanged. The material supply for each workstation is done preferably with gravity flow racks that are designed and placed into the workstation with minimal distances between withdrawal and insertion.
