Describes the light conditions in manufacturing facilities. The quality of produced parts depends on, among other things, the ability to work properly and the possibility to detect anomalies. Each workstation and facility area must therefore have the correct light level. A general rule is: Workstation with operator: 250 lux Final inspection, quality-check place: 500 lux Measurement room: 500‒1000 lux Office: 500 lux Aisles, storage areas, and warehouse: 150 lux
