Continuous Improvement
Based on a continuous improvement process with the aim of increasing effectiveness and efficiency. It is a never-ending effort to improve the business of the company; this could be processes, products, or services. The bases are existing standards like instructions, product design, machines, tools, and equipment. Usually, improvements are done in a constant and incremental way and are driven by the quality department. Every improvement idea needs to be documented and measured in terms of success (also see KAIZEN, PDCA).
