ANDON Board

A display showing the status of the machines and production lines. In case of a problem, an operator activates an alert that is then visible on the board, indicating the location of the problem on the production line. The andon board is installed in a place where it is visible to everybody. It allows management or maintenance (for example) to quickly access the precise location of the problem. Andon boards are also used for displaying data (e.g. actuals versus target) and indicators.
